Learning to become yourself  & become that which you dream

The oldest most traditional ways for self development known to man is the ancient art of yoga - Raja Yoga- consciousness and self awareness. Often it is referred to as the kundalini rising. In more modern times It was quoted by ~ Carl Gustav Jung ~ "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” In ancient times we have the quote from the Delphic oracle- man know thyself and thy shall know the universe. (570 BCE)

Later in time came the Greek philosopher Aristotle (384 BCE – 322 BCE) who influenced theories of personal development in the Western world. Aristotle defined personal development as a category of knowledge and practical wisdom, where the practice of virtues leads to "happiness" but more accurately understood as "human flourishing" or "living well", which what we would term today as holistic . Aristotle still to this day continues to influence the Western concept of personal development, particularly in the field of human development and the psychology of positive thinking.


Personal development 

Is  the act or process of understanding and developing oneself in order to achieve one’s fullest potential. Personal development is a vital part in a person’s growth, maturity, success and fulfilment. It is the foundation of emotional maturity and intelligence, having better relationship with self and others, inner happiness, success and well-being.

Unfortunately, however, not everyone is aware of the importance of personal development. It wasn't given much attention at home, work or in school. People give more importance to academic and professional achievement rather than personal growth. This has caused a lot of emotional struggles that many people go through in life because they lack the personal skills which are crucial to one’s success and happiness. Such lack of self-understanding and disconnected from self blocks one’s ability to live an enjoyable, happy and successful life.

Attitudes and actions change when you learn about yourself and your actions and reactions. You can create so much positive transformation with yourself finding the answers to the questions "who I am I , why am I here and how I live my life, what's it all for.

Together we will turn a negative and closed mind into an open and positive one. Minimize complaining on what life brings, but instead, start to see life as YOUR own blueprint one that you will create and change and work with so you can advance to that that you aspire to be. Become more practical, realistic, and release yourself from expectations which are placed upon us. Become conscious aware and open to change, and accepting change be it in yourself or in others.

Changes cannot happen if you ignore personal development.

Why personal development is important:

~ It assist you in creating your goals and life purpose
~ It guides you in managing and spending your time effectively
~ It enhances your ability to handle stress and change
~ It supports you in managing your finances more wisely
~ It teaches you to build better relationship with people
~ It allows you to live a balanced lifestyle
~ It provides an opportunity to take care of your health.


Imagine personal development is like a plant. If you take care of it by giving it the reasonable amount of water, sunlight and soil, it will grow into a healthy and beautiful tree. But if you neglect it and won’t pay attention to what kind of nourishment it needs, then expect that plant to get dry and eventually die.

Personal development is like how you nurture of a plant. If you don’t recognise the importance of personal development, you will continue living through life’s hard circumstances feeling like a victim instead of a victor. You will stick to your belief that you cannot do something to change and improve your situation. As such, you will continue complaining and being negative with almost everything in your life. You will constantly feel lost with your own life purpose, struggling to find who you are and what you want to become.

But if you open yourself in learning about yourself physically mentally emotionally and spiritually , you will experience a great change in your life. You will start to become more positive in your outlook, you will be more proactive rather than reactive, you will start to create your life rather than letting circumstance create it, you will be able to find your own purpose and enjoy your life to its fullest.


Fact: We all sometimes become confused about life where we are going, who we are what our purpose might be– and sometimes it can be hard to see the light at the end of the path we are walking on.

We are all unique individuals with our own talents and qualities, the more we understand what works for us the more successful we become in being who we are and we enjoy the life we are living.

We will explore activities that improve self awareness and strengthen self identity, develop and discover talents, and we will together discover your potential, and learn how to enhance your quality of life and have the awareness how to contribute to the realisation of your dreams and aspirations.

In workshops together with a combination of personal discussion and physical yoga postures to help open the body emotions and the subconscious mind with guided relaxation, and personal mental exercises we will create a deeper understanding of who we are, what we are doing, and where we might be heading!  Is the direction we are heading there we really want to go.
