REBUILD
Sometimes life changes in an instant.
Recovering from illness, cancer treatment, heart surgery, injury or another life-changing operation can affect much more than the body. It can change your confidence, your independence and the way you feel about yourself. Living with a chronic health condition can also make everyday movement more difficult than it once was.
Recovery isn't simply about healing. It's about rebuilding strength, restoring confidence and learning to trust your body again.
Whatever has brought you here, you'll be supported with patience, understanding and genuine compassion.
A Personalised Approach to Recovery
No two recoveries are the same.
Every session is individually tailored to your needs, abilities and stage of recovery. There is no pressure to keep up with anyone else and no expectation that you need to be flexible, fit or have any previous experience with yoga.
We'll simply begin where you are today and work together at a pace that feels safe, comfortable and realistic.
Gentle Movement That Works With You
Sometimes after illness or surgery the hardest part is simply getting your body moving again.
Using traditional yoga practices, we'll gently explore supported movement, breathing (pranayama), meditation, progressive relaxation and mindful movement
Whether you're sitting comfortably in a chair, supported with pillows and bolsters, or ready for gentle movement on the mat, every session is adapted to what your body needs on the day.
There is no pressure to push through discomfort. We'll work with your body, not against it.
Recovery Is More Than Healing the Body
Having experienced the challenges of recovering from life-changing surgery myself, I understand how frustrating it can be when your body no longer moves the way it once did.
The months it took to rebuild my own strength taught me that recovery isn't simply physical. It also affects your confidence, your emotions and the way you see yourself.
That experience continues to shape the way I work today—meeting every person with patience, understanding and genuine compassion.
Your Recovery, Your Pace
Meaningful recovery takes time.
For this reason, I generally recommend beginning with a series of five sessions. Meeting regularly allows us to gently rebuild movement, confidence and independence without feeling rushed.
While weekly sessions often provide the greatest benefit, I also understand that recovery isn't always predictable. Some weeks your body simply needs more rest—and that's perfectly okay.
If you need to postpone a session, we'll simply move it to another day. You won't lose your session because you've had a difficult week.
This journey is about working with you, not against you.

Sometimes recovery begins with one small movement.
Together, we'll take the next step.
